Bizen ware is characterized by a variety of patterns such as sesame, sankiri, red sash, and botamochi. We have taken on the challenge of creating a new pattern on the surface, which was previously unconventional for Bizen ware. We aim to spread the appeal of Bizen ware together with the "colored clay" of my father, Izuru, who expanded the range of expression by adding pigments to Bizen clay called "hiyose," the origin of pottery making. The new Bizen, which exudes elegance and is unique to Izuru pottery, will brighten up your everyday life.
